Details:长城类别：墙体 起点经纬高度：东经：117° 34′ 北纬：40° 11′ 海拔：845 终点经纬高度：东经：117° 34′ 北纬：40° 11′ 海拔：843 墙体走向：此段长城自赤霞峪长城4段山险止点起，沿山脊向西南进行修建，至赤霞峪长城6段山险止。 墙体类别：石墙 结构特点及构筑方式：该段长城采用毛石干垒而成。 垒砌方法： 此段长城墙体垒砌的方法是在砌筑墙体两侧的同时也垒砌内部的石块，也就是说墙体两侧的外边与内部石块是同时垒砌的，墙体同时起高，而不像赤霞峪长城1段长城墙体那样在两侧形成了两道坚固的护坡似的外墙。从目前墙体保存的状况看，此段墙体垒砌的方法是失败的，墙体很不坚固。 现状：此段长城为石墙。该段长城正好位于山脊部，地理位置较为重要。墙体外侧的地势都较为陡峭，但可以攀爬。 墙体外侧墙壁采用大石块垒砌，大石块之间的缝隙用较小的石块或石片垫起，以保持墙体内收而不外张。墙体外侧垒砌较高，目前残高1.5－2.9米；内侧垒砌较矮，残高0.4－1.4米。
